Great news! SNOW Network is officially LIVE in the Kusama ecosystem and users with eligible wallets are now able to claim their SNOW Airdrop!
Those who held the ICX token during the snapshot (taken at Block #44,123,130 on the ICON Blockchain) can visit the SNOW Airdrop claim page, connect their wallet and claim their airdrop.
Claiming the SNOW Airdrop
Airdrop claims are now open and eligible users can use both Hana and Polkadot{.js} wallets to claim their native ICZ (Substrate based) token.

Airdrop claims will remain open for at least 6 months, after which the team will make a decision on extending the claim period based on the available claim data.
The SNOW token (ICZ) is currently not supported by Ledger. The ICE/SNOW team is exploring implementation partners for this and aims to add Ledger support to SNOW token utility on the long run. You can still claim from Ledger to a software wallet (Hana, Polkadot.js) directly on the SNOW airdrop site.
Finding SNOW on Kusama/Polkadot:
The SNOW chain can be added to the Polkadot explorer by clicking this link. It is helpful for Polkadot{.js} wallet users to select “Allow use on any chain” in their wallet settings.
Crowdloan Contribution Rewards
For the past week, SNOW Crowdloan Contributors have been able to check their SNOW crowdloan rewards breakdown here by connecting their Polkadot/Kusama wallet and getting a detailed breakdown of their upcoming rewards distribution.
Crowdloan contributors will be rewarded with the native ICZ (Substrate based) token, which will be directly transferred to eligible wallets.
- The transfer of crowdloan rewards is scheduled to go out about 1 hour after the airdrop claim activation.
SNOW Staking Vault
The SNOW Staking Vault is estimated to go LIVE towards the end of October. This on-chain token locking contract will reward participants, based on their entry dates, staking amounts and selected lock-up periods. Early participation and longer lock-up periods will receive greater SNOW ($ICZ) token rewards, up to a maximum of 20% APR.
The SNOW Staking Vault is a part of the SNOW Retention Rewards as outlined in the SNOW tokenomics overview. As the SNOW Network will grow with native projects and dApps, we think it is important to reward crowdloan supporters and community members who actively stake or provide liquidity on SNOW. A large part of SNOW token supply (50%) is allocated towards the community incentives treasury and the three main aspects of the treasury are:
- Retention Rewards (20% of SNOW token supply)
- Liquidity Incentives (15% of SNOW token supply)
- Developer Incentives (15% of SNOW token supply)
