Before the shutdown, a snapshot of the network's state will be archived and stored. This snapshot will enable future teams to continue from where the current teams left off.

Participants in the Kusama parachain auction will have their KSM returned to their original KSM wallets when the parachain lease expires on August 26th, later this year.
